Kimberly Reese Sherman is a licensed Psychotherapist and Clinician Consultant based out of Charlotte, North Carolina with over ten years of specialized experience. She is originally from South Florida but was raised in Durham, North Carolina. She obtained her Bachelor of Social Work from Meredith College and completed her Master of Social Work at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Go HEELS! She is committed to shifting the culture of mental health services by promoting quality therapeutic and consultative services to men and women in the Charlotte area.
Kimberly has been in Private Practice full time for 2 years and recently expanded to a group practice, The Reese Collective. Leading a Private practice has afforded her the opportunity to expand her work to include consulting with other clinicians in addition to community engagement opportunities, specifically pertaining to mental health and the Faith community. She loves that she has the opportunity to be a part of her client's growth and has seen miracles happen in her line of work; that inspiration alone is one of the highlights of her career.
Through her line of work, she uses her forward-thinking, faith, and love for therapy to create and cultivate a safe and transformational environment for her clients. Kimberly is described as purposeful, tenacious and blessed. Her work is inspired by Matthew 17:20 which says, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” In her spare time she enjoys playing basketball, reading, cooking and traveling.
